The Ex gorvernor of Abia State, Chief Orji Uzor Kalu, has announced that the resistance Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has been pulverized past redemption.
He said that if the PDP were to be an organization, he would claim more than 90 for each penny equity in it.
Kalu, who governed Abia State on the platform of the PDP, insisted that the party can never bounce back to power because it has been destroyed by its operators beyond redemption.
He said Igbo will not support any move that will disintegrate Nigeria, adding that a united Nigeria is an easier possibility than a balkanised country.
The former governor now a chieftain of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), said that he is striving hard to bring Ndigbo back to the main stream of politics in Nigeria.
Kalu spoke at the weekend in Lokoja, Kogi State in a lecture titled: “Mainstreaming Igbo in Nigeria Politics” at the inauguration of Ndigbo Support Group for Governor Yahaya Bello.
He said: “We must fix Nigeria to work for all inclusive of the aspirations of all.
I see a more united country rising from the ashes of hate and fear.
“Those who fear that the Igbo do not have leaders should first try to find out how Igbo people manage their affairs.
“Yes, Igbo people have their leaders and when their leaders speak, those they lead take the cue.
And of course, Igbo leaders are talking and dialoguing.
In politics, you often dialogue more than you talk. So, in managing a diverse country like Nigeria, you need to dialogue and communicate rightly.
That way, you will be able to manage tension.
Kalu, the previous presidential candidate of the Progressive Peoples Alliance (PPA), said that in embracing authority for the advancement of Igbo land, he trusts that the Igbos are in a superior position to comprehend that all governmental issues, like they say, are local.
