Following the Tuesday’s mob actions on South African owned Shoprite in Lagos and Ibadan, security agents have manned South African investments in Kaduna State.
Meanwhile, Mobile Telecommunication Network (MTN) has condemned the xenophobic attacks.
Our correspondent, who visited MTN and Multichoice head offices in Kaduna Wednesday morning, observed that, they were under lock and keys
At the Kaduna MTN head office, in Abakpa area, a yellow coloured banner was sighted at the main gate, with inscription, ‘We Stand Against Xenophobia’.
While the office was not opened for business, armed men of the Nigeria Police on power bikes were strategically positioned at the office.
Similarly, the Multichoice office was not opened for business, while policemen were sighted inside the premises.
